How to automatically create a new customer in Paddle for a Calendly event registrant

Initiate with a trigger for your playbook. This trigger waits for specific changes within Calendly and activates your workflow accordingly.

Navigate to "Add trigger," choose "Event scheduled" within Calendly, and select the relevant details. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect the scheduled event in Calendly and initiate necessary actions.

If this is your first time using a Calendly integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection processing.

Integrate the Paddle automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of a new customer from each invitee on a Calendly scheduled event.

Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or create customer" automation for Paddle and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Paddle account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Paddle account.

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of a new customer in Paddle. Once turned on, it will respond whenever a new event is scheduled in Calendly by creating a new customer in Paddle for each invitee on the event without manual intervention.

To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
